DESCRIPTION
Project: Children `s trauma psychological treatment center.
Concept: Children trauma faces children in one stage of their lives for several reasons,
and as medical procedures could be the reason for these traumatic effects, the project depends on “natural therapy”, so the building will contain comforting zones for children reflected architecturally into the building through: skills training, exposure, and cognitive therapy.Dealing with the site and site requirements: Integration of site`s good views, greenery, and levels within the project, and a main road view.
EVALUATION OBJECTIVE
The final projects outcome creativity was evaluated by ten of the University`s architecture department tutors. This evaluation was done by an architecture master student “Maram Abu Sama`an” for the a thesis “ AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) APPLICATIONS ON THE CREATIVITY OF ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS: THE UNIVERSITY OF JORDAN CASE STUDY” to test the effect of postponing the use of computer until later stages of design after the conceptual stage, on students final project outcome`s creativity.
This was accomplished via the Product Semantic Scale to measure the Product Creativity Rating (PCR) using the three main attributes: novelty, resolution, and elaboration and synthesis. This test is used because it measures the creativity of the final architectural project outcome.
