Multimedia Pavilion in Barcelona
It is an architecturalobject which integrates all elements that have been designed for into asingle design, integrates a video wall of 5x5m toreport events, a visitor corridor which includes interactive displays wherepeople can expand the information, plus a ground floor office for computercontrol of the audiovisual installation, an office on the firstfloor and an upper viewpoint where visitors can takean overlook around the square of Plaza Forum.
Shape is given by a onemeter’s mesh metal structural ribs arranged in longitudinaland transversal welded slices, relying on two centralpoints of the curve and within the elevator that connects the 3levels.
The outer skin combines 3materials: steel, molded glass (green colored and translucent) ,floated shotcrete to tread surfaces. A pinewood flooring through forthe ground like a carpet gives warmth contrasting withconstruction’s technology.
