The site has a large audience of children. Rather than designing a children's site we decided to target a teenage audience in both the content strategy and the visual language. A large percentage of the sites main content is done though video and social channels.
For the profile pages we got all of the players to do some ball handling on green screen so that we could have live portraits instead of still images. This was designed to help make the players more personable and help give the fans something to help identify the players by.
