M&S Walnut Whips Rebrand

This brief involved rebranding the M&S Walnut Whip packaging. I chose to re-brand the Walnut Whips, Salted Caramel Whips and British Pudding Whips. I decided on illustrating a set of squirrels to go on the front of the packaging, they're each holding a different topping that comes on the whips. A walnut, a white chocolate hazelnut and a meringue drop.
I decided I wanted to design a more unusual shaped packaging rather than your average rectangular box. The shape of the packaging is based on the shape of a Walnut Whip. I added daisies and grass to create a scene for the squirrel to reside in. All of the information on my nets can be found on the current Walnut Whip, Salted Caramel Whip and British Pudding Whip packaging. There is a different squirrel pose and colour on each of the flavours so it is easy for customers to differentiate between the flavours.
The size of the final packaging is approximately:
13cm wide at the bottom,
6.5cm wide at the top,
12 cm high,
5.5cm deep at the bottom,
3 cm deep at the top.
 
The walnut whips would be secured in place inside in the plastic casing, just like they come in already. To stop the top walnut whip falling all over the place, two cardboard supports would be placed either side of it to keep it centred.
