CRAFT POSTERS: BURNING WAX CANDLES BRINGS YOU GOOD FORTUNE

A general anecdote of adults when children ask about red candles during prayers, these candles are often left alone to burn as they slowly accumulate into pools of wax . The words are kept distinct from these layers to illustrate its persistence through use and time - acting as a play on both the anecdote and principle itself.

Hot wax was extracted by burning both ends of the red candles used for prayers, and dripped slowly throughout the paper. Each layer had to be cooled down before the next round of dripping to intentionally create irregular levels of accumulated wax, not unlike those found in temples.
