In response to Sabrina Gschwandtner's Enchanted Loom Part II, I developed a series of explorations which were compiled into a "video quilt", Video quilt of film quilt of quilting film. This study highlights the remixing of the tradition of quilting. Its inception with Pat Ferrero's Quilts in Women's Lives, and continuation with Gschwandtner's piece, I aimed to expand the cycle of self-reference through choice of medium. I allowed the screen to assume the function of a quilted surface as a site to collect my various experiences while analyzing Enchanted Loom Part II. The act of reusing content emphasizes the metaphysical quality of the piece under analysis and the significance in the choice of medium.
