Design for the Web is a first introduction to the online workspace. Students begin the course by writing HTML and CSS before moving their design to Adobe Dreamweaver CC. The design process is empahsized including: thumbnails, wireframe layouts, layer comps in Photoshop before moving their designs into production in Adobe Dreamweaver. The semester culminates with fully functional sites uploaded via FTP to the Assumption College server space.
