This 12 by 16-inch canvas was initially lacerated using a knife and a dull pair of scissors. The woman was painted with minimal use of solvent to achieve bolder oil paint strokes. White acrylic was used around the figure in other to achieve a thinker, glossier, and firmer hold on the lacerated edges of the canvas.
