Created as part of Obscura Festival 2015, under the guidance of artist and photographer Wawi Navarroza, 'sayang' is an exploration of the overwhelming sadness that I experienced for the passing of my grandfather. Brought on by being in another country, a different environment, and away from my family, I found myself face to face with something I had yet to accept.
