CONCEPT : Redefining Miniatures
As per the Oxford dictionary, a miniature is a small-scale reproduction or a smaller version of an object. They are decorative items, finely detailed, highly aesthetic and not functional.
By redefining miniatures the idea is to create miniatures, inspired by traditional and vintage furniture items, which can be functionally used as desktop accessories such as card holders, bookends, coasters, pen stands etc.
Functional Miniatures are rare, almost nonexistent; They add an element of fun and quirk and personalize our monotonous and boring work spaces.
The inspiration for form for this collection was taken from the interiors and objects of the Victorian and pre- Victorian era. The concept of each product is inspired from various traditions and parts of history globally. Hence the objective is to create contemporary products, with a feel of vintage quirk.
