For my ENVD 1102 class at CU Boulder, we were asked to create a design intervention along the Boulder Creek, between Arapahoe and 30th St. City Santuary is designed as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Boulder, CO. The zig-zag design and lookouts slow bikers and people down. The sweeping arch provides some amount of securtiy and cover, while keeping it open to nature.
