Who thought that selfies could take so many lives, that an attempt at capturing a moment could

cost someone so much? According to Priceonomics data on deaths caused while taking selfies, 49 people have lost their lives since 2014... all for a selfie. India tops the charts, followed by Russia and the United States. The average age of the victims is 21 years, and 75 percent of them are male. The toll is rising, and the numbers clearly indicate that the situation is grave. The following infograph highlights some of the instances that were reported in India.
