Front Card - Used a balloon image with a layer mask to create different color balloons, duplicated each color multiple times and lowered the opacity of them to allow the text to stand out. I used a font that I felt went well with the card.

Inside Left - Rasterized an image of a birthday cake then made the image much bigger than it was orignally.

Inside Right - The main part of the card where I added the text to wish a happy birthday along with space to add handwritten text.

Back - The back of the card mimics the idea of the front, using the multiple balloons and lowered opacity to make the Hallmark text to pop out.

Final project is along the left side of this last image and to the right is my progression of my work.
