This project was mostly focused on learning basic weaves on a handloom, we learnt about all the parts that come together to form a handloom.
The basic weave we learnt :-
1.) Plain weave.
2.) Basket weave.
3.) 2 Rib weaves.
4.) 2 Twill weaves.
5.) Balanced weave.
6.) Zick- zack weave.
7.) Horizontal zick- zack weave.
8.) Diamond weave.
We created two swatches, one swatch included plain, basket, and 2 rib weaves, we strictly used one colored yarn for all the weaves in a swatch to make it easier to know the difference between the 3 different weaves.
