Since this is the first time I've actively pursued a visual merchandising job, I didn't have a portfolio of displays I have done at previous jobs. I wanted to put together something that illustrated creativity and my interest in visual design. As a result, this is a hodge-podge of photographs I have taken. Some of them are of informal seasonal displays I created in our house or for a bridal shower/wedding. The more chaotic and colorful displays are the door and walls of my mother's first grade classroom. I helped her with the arrangement. Most of the images are nature photography from the Beverly/Salem area or food photography. I made all the food in the photographs. I hope this helps to give you a feeling of how passionately I feel about finding different ways to express my creative outlook on life-- a passion that I hope to be able to bring to you at The Paper Store!
