The Legonary Beatles Studio 2
Yates Associates were recommended by architects Mittleman Associates to Abbey Road's chief sound engineer, Simon Rhodes who kindly invited us to prepare a new lighting scheme for Studio 2 due to continuous lamp failures and difficult lamp avaialability. At the time, the building was likely to be listed, therefore it was suggested to retain or copy the existing luminaire housings and re-lamp with the very latest in lamp technology. Two proposals were put forward but unfortunately neither were implemented.
