Event Branding: Barcelona Alimentaria (2016)

This event rebranding was done for Paul Booth's Print Design class in the spring of 2016 at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. We were given the freedom to choose any event to design, and the Food and Drinks Exhibition of Barcelona (hosted and sponsored by Fira Gran Via) stuck out most to me. ​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​Between 25 and 28 April 2016, Alimentaria will once again become an international business centre for all food, drinks and culinary industry professionals. This is a date with innovation, the latest trends and international expansion no one in the industry will want to miss.

Alimentaria 2016 will continue to focus on maintaining and strengthening the main foundations of its growth: internationalisation, innovation, gastronomy and specialisation. Some of Alimentaria's shows and content are also being re-imagined in exciting new ways.
The creative concept was to follow the theme of the exhibition itself. Red being an emphasis on drinks, green on food. The photographs on the seperate posters indicate the family they belong to. The logo design is done in a sans-serif font to suggest international relations and friendly globalization.
