Home Chocolates

Home Chocolates is a packaging proposal for a fictional chocolate company that creates hand-crafted chocolates while supporting important social causes. With the idea of "from my home to yours" in mind, these chocolates are made from customer-submitted recipes, and 50% of all proceeds from the sales go towards homeless shelters and refugee relief organizations, hence providing aid to those in need of a good home.

The branding takes on a very "home-made" look, with drawings and eclectic colors. The mantra, "Open Love" utilizes both the verb and adjective form of the word open:
1. To open love in the sense that the customer would open the door in the package to get to the chocolate, as well as open up their love and care for all the homeless and less fortunate in the world by purchasing these chocolates
2. Open love as a description of how these chocolates and their donations are non-discriminatory

The packaging of these chocolates take on an interactive approach, where the door in the package opens to view the chocolate inside. There is a statistic about homelessness on the inside of the door, to bring attention to the global crisis and hopefully encourage people to take action by purchasing these chocolates and donating to the cause.
