Brief: Connect is a charity that works with people with the communication disability, aphasia. Following our re-design of Connect's impact report, Remedy has been bringing all of their printed materials in-line with the new design style. Connect asked us to look at their Communication Toolkit; a publication aimed at health and social care professionals, to help them make services in their organisations accessible for people with aphasia.
Solution: The main toolkit is broken down into easily digested modules with 'walk-throughs' of the Powerpoint presentations incorporated in the attached CD. The accompanying workbook uses case studies and typical scenarios to bring the challenges of this communication disability to life.
Result: A large amount of information has been laid out simply, but elegantly. The resulting publications ensure that the training is delivered in as methodical and effective a way as possible.
