The challenge was to create a minimalist triptych using 3 sentences to tell a story through vector images.  My three sentences are as follows- 1- As I swam in the pond, I noticed an alligator emerge from the surface and swim towards me.  2- I could feel the blood rushing through my veins as I struggled to stay above the surface.  3- To my surprise, the alligator swam right past me and attacked a peacock, causing feathers to fly everywhere.  The class was limited to using the pen tool and shape tool on Adobe Illustrator to tell the story in a minimalist way.

I figured out a scene that would portray the three sentences and then proceeded to sketched them on paper.  I then scanned the pictures and opened them on Illustrator where I used the pen tool to create different vector shapes to tell the story.  The result included an alligator emerging from the surface in the first art-board.  The second included a hand above the water’s surface showing how the veins were protruding from his skin.  The last art-board showed the alligator on the pond’s edge attacking the peacock causing feathers to fly everywhere.
