Play-Doh Toy Box
I started with a sketch of the basic layout that I wanted for my box.
I made sure the layout was visible for me to start building my box on top of it. The assignment was for us to print out an Easter theme design for a toy box that was able to be folded into a box. I am known to take on challenges and take it a step further so I went to the store and bought my own products to be measured.
Then, I built my own toy box with the measurements I had from the original product our teacher showed us.
I was able to build around the toys leaving enough space for this box to be able to open like a regular toy box.
When we were assigned this project, we were told that this box had to be inspire by Easter. My next step was to look for Easter color pallets and different Easter package designs. I liked the idea of having Easter eggs on the sides of the box but it just looked off like it was not part of the box.
After some thought process and a few mistakes, I decided to go with a more playful and a little cartoon looking egg for the kids.
