A video installation where I collected photographs over spring break and projected a time-lapse of the photographs on a small iPhone 4s. In this micro installation I wanted to project images on a small area in a large space creating a tension between the vastness and emptiness of the room and the fast-paced density of the images on a small phone screen. It is an installation commenting on the way people view our lives on a daily basis; through the screens of our everyday smartphone. Our interactions with one another, the way we check in with one another and the way we present ourselves to the world are unconsciously done through this small "viewfinder". The song chosen for the installation and the video documentation is "Out Woods" by Masayoshi Fujita. Enjoy
