Through the conjunction of minimalistic sound bytes and the rigid contrasting of light and color, tr@nsfer elevates the concept of contemporary storytelling. The projection mapping approach allows for the video installation to appear on a vast array of surfaces and mimic the eerie sensation of encountering a ghost in a separate dimension.
The exhibitions consists of a close up image of a female face speaking through concise statements and reflecting on the concept of time, as well as our interactions with Internet functions. The apparition entices the audience to contemplate the surreal communication we have with technology daily. tr@nsfer explores idea of Internet solitude and evokes emotions experienced by the figure.
