A collection of clippings were arranged & filmed. The footage was projected back on top of the original, allowing the viewer to get past the specific, detailed images & escape into meditative sensations.
I organized my collection of images by color, shape, & content. I had multiples of many pictures because I have been tearing them out of similar magazines for years.
I was attracted to the idea of a circular piece because the projection could rotate without leaving the shape of the actual collage.
