Old Harry is named after the rock stack that stands at the end of Studland Bay in Poole, Dorset. The rocks are the namesake of an infamous local pirate called Harry Paye who was famous for his adventure and plunder on the high seas. We were asked to shoot lifestyle imagery of their latest apparel, by the sea here in Cornwall for their print and social media channels.
SOLUTION
In-house photographer Karl Mackie shot our models in Newquay, Cornwall, using natural light during the summer and winter months. The aim was to position the brand’s social strategy with a visual framework that elevates their visuals to the same level as their products.
RESULTS
A collection of images showcasing the message Old Harry relays in a series of coastal shots from around the Newquay area. The images and stories were then used across social media and blog posts.
