Assignment: Create a 1/8 scale model for a bridge that could potentially be placed in a local Ann Arbor park. Students must collaborate with one another to make intricate layouts, order materials, and assemble the bridge by utilizing the wood shop and metals studio. 

 

For our bridge, we set out to produce a cable style bridge that didn't impose itself on the natural park environment. We wanted a design that would blend with the trees and river backdrop but also be as durable as an industrial bridge that one would see in larger areas.
