Looking back on the suburbs where I grew up while photographing the spaces I spent most of my time while living there. With this story I'm showing you the two key places of my growing up: suburbs where I grew up in and the place where my mum grew up (where I spent alot of my summers with my grandparents and family). When you think of suburbs you think quiet and calm place which it is but it keeps secrets of those growing up there. Every walk we took, every long talk we had together shaped us and made us who we are. While I was living there I took it for granted, I had stability and naivety at the same time but now just a few months later I'm living on my own and starting to understand the  impact it had on me and who I am. This was the place where I took my first photo, painted the first canvas, recorded, made my first art film. Now I'm letting those places, friends and events  talk trough my photography. I'm showing you the places I used to run from, used to feel like they trapped me in highschool. I'm celebrating them now for what they did for me!
