The distance from the camera sacrifices some of the details asked for in the original synopsis. It is too dark and distant to show a “lush” landscape or “dangerous creatures” but that is simply because I wanted to create a feeling of realism. When you are that far away from what you are looking at and it is dark outside you cannot distinguish much detail of your surroundings. However you can still admire the beauty. The reflection on the water and the colourful sunset highlight the “beauty” referenced in the synopsis. Her town is at the left where the scene starts and the ruins are on the right. The first panel is meant to be shown once only the tile on the right is meant to be infinitely repeated as many times as necessary for the game that you are making. There is a dock, her town, the island, the ruins, the ocean and the sunset, more than 3 objects required. The reference photos I used are in the post, one of them is of a distant house, one is of a reflection on water, one is of a sunset and dark mountains (which is the real life equivalent of what I was going for with my background) and there was some ruins.
