Interview: Chinese American Mini Market

This is an illustrated interview with the owner of a grocery store in Cranston where I get my scallions and pork belly. The layout was inspired by the store's bulletin board which is always covered with flyers, job postings, apartment rentals, almost all of them handwritten in Chinese.
 
There's always someone in the back, cutting up vegetables.
That's the owner, Mr. Lin.
The newspaper headlines that day were about the ending of China's one-child policy.
