A contemporary painting using mixed media on canvas as an crafty-painting. Combines oil color, clay (for hands), embroidered linen with custom Balinese print, threads, and wooden sticks on canvas. Inspired by Indonesian women who threads their own heritage textiles as part of their life.
The hands are made from clay, finished with oil and acrylic paint. Wrap with indigo fabrics from local Balinese market.
Canvas are painted using oil color, and brushed until it has similar texture to linen. The print are painted until it looks really embroidered.
