Inspiration

It started off with listening to an upbeat music about how people don’t mean what they say. This led me to start off with the concept of our mind. It eventually led to the concept being refined to what I was going through and what is close to my heart.

 

Production 

The lamp is made of two veneer strips laminated together for more then twelve hours before bending them by hand. The housing of the light bulb is made by wood turning.

 

Functionality 

The lamp is used as a ceiling lamp.

 

Uniqueness or originality 

The whole lamp is made by hand which shows the fragility of the piece and the structure evokes a continuous flow. Thus, metaphorically mimicking the thought processes of the mind.
