Tangible Temperature Display {Work in Progress}
2012
In our world of ever growing data consumption, digital information has engulfed our senses. The most taxed sense is our sight as most modern interfaces relay information visually. Visual representations are an efficient way to consume information about the world around us, but what is less apparent is how the human brain consumes touch, sound, and smell in tandem with visual stimuli. The Tangible Temperature Display is designed to make us aware of how our other senses, in this case our hearing, can be used to convey information related to a visual display. [Artist Statement]
