One of the alluring qualities of the crocodile is the myriad of unique patterns and texture found on its body. As such, the skin is used by designers in lieu of leather when creating luxury bags, shoes and belts. I wanted to experiment with the patterns and see if the same alluring quality could be sustained and appreciated when rendered in metal. As the patterns differ along the body, I also wanted to draw attention to patterns unseen and unused by designers who prefer the highest quality skin.
