This is a single edition artist book. In the last ten years 70,000 square acres of forest beginning in the southwest United States and stretching into Canada have been destroyed by bark beetles. Spurred on by global climate change, the beetles have thrived. The diseased trees, mostly pines, turn a bright red, then a golden yellow before being left white and bare.
