The objective of this project was to create a type speciman book that categorized 25 different typefaces, ranging from old style, transitional, modern, slab serif, and sans serif, while incoporating a narrative relevant to an overall concept or theme that is consistant throughout the book.

 

The narrative utlized in this project was "Since Then" by Milton Glaser. The concept of this project was to answer Glaser's question, "Can design be art?" Using images of typographic signs, this book shows the beauty of type and how it can be seen as art. Each type classification begins with an image of a sign that utlizes that specific classificaiton. All images utlized in this project were personally photographed.
