Aquarium Visit Dress, was designed for project two in Problem Solving Class. The goal of this class is to cover the body with unconventional materials while creating a unique design. When visiting the Camden NJ Aquarium, the rainbow coral reef stood out for inspiration for this project. With that being said as secondary research I discovered the rainbow reef in Fiji with vibrant colors of corals, rocks and fish. The dress translates the movement of the ocean while representing corals, seaweed and aquatic plants. Materials used for this dress are loofas, bath mats, zippers, rocks and plastic bags.
