For this project, I chose to use a Minolta X-370 camera. The camera was taken apart to identify structure and function, and photographed to create an orthographic view box shown below. From that, models were made that represented hierarchy, structure, and an expressive version. These led to the final model which resembeled the camera, had a very similar internal structure, and doubled as a working camera obscura.
