The Collodion Process - Technology of 1850

A tribute to the days before film negatives. To go through the labour of image capture to fully respect it.
 
Each glass piece was individually hand cut, sandpapered, and carefully applied with a mixture of chemicals and silver nitrate.
 
Each one, never the same, with subtle differences in light sensitivity and handiwork.
Differences in developers go a long way. In this instance, cyanide was used to determine the hue of the outcome.
