Emotions in Wilflife

I've been taking pictures of various birds and other creatures that we see here for a while now. Unfortuantely, that number has drastically reduced over the past few years and what was once filled with lush, green paddy fields has turned into a dull, grey concrete jungle. What we used to see in the wild can now only be found in zoos. On a visit to a zoo last year I noticed one of the monkeys looking particularly sad. It just stared and stared doing nothing - almost as if it had lost all hope and was just depressed. That made me want to come back home and go through some of my pictures and select ones that showed emotions in animals and birds and other creatures. People don't seem to listen to animals when they have so much to teach us so hopefully this helps.
This is one of the saddest faces I've ever seen at a zoo and also the inspiration behind this series.
This llittle fellow walked right up to our door. We took him in and then released him into a nearby stream which is probably where it came from. Whenever I would get down on my knees to get a closer look it would look right back at me as if meaning to say "Who are you? What are you?" It kept doing that even when I got my camera out for this picture.
Who said only humans enjoy the company of others?
