Re-Branding Cornwall : Digital Tide

Cornwall is perceived to be a beautiful tourist go-to destination, with amazing beaches and traditional British foods.

Although true, Cornwall has been hiding an even bigger industry with a hunger to grow

The Digital Industry.
Brandalism

- Cornwall as a County has very rebellious characteristics i.e. wanting independence
- I wanted to bring this into my branding as I thought it would be a strong feature to play around with
- This led to the use of Brandalism: by using forms of disruptive and annoying advertising it would directly impose on people's        lives as they travel to work, use the internet, or simply go on a walk to direct them towards corwall's Digital Tide
- The visuals used would not be the ordinary 'come to Cornwall for the beautiful beaches' but instead target that as its weakness
by using Digital imagery such as glitches and circuit board designs.

Taking things further

- To keep flaunting the rising rebellion of the Digital Industry in people's faces more 'nuisances' needed to be designed such as:
  - Internet banners, Advertisments, and Pop-ups
  - Stickers
  - etc.
