In an effort to create awareness of energy savings in the K-12 environment through lighting control, Lutron launched the Greenovation program. The program was a 4 step approach that included not only a sustainable lighting control upgrade for the classroom but also incorporated green curriculum-based resources, a community outreach program, and an online social network. Pieces created for the brand included brochures, trade show banners, advertisements, and email campaigns. The program also included a contest in which a $15,000 sustainable classroom upgrade was awarded to the winning school.
