Solution
The cause chosen was supporting farmer’s markets. It is important that cities buy locally, especially a large city such as Detroit. The poster shows an industrial city blooming with fruits and vegetables. Ideally, if the city of Detroit buys food locally, the city will prosper. The style reflects that of the WPA posters produced beginning in
1936.
