This curtain divider is inspired by reflections of contemporary architectural surfaces of skyscrapers in Bangkok and colored mirrors in Thai temples. The rectangular pieces of thin aluminum mimic the subtle sheen of contemporary buildings and create rain-like (common sound in this hot and humid city) sound when moved. Sheer cotton organza was selected as a base fabric for the curtain to be viewed from both front and back. The colored pattern is more visible from the back whereas 'glowing' from behind the aluminum sheets.
