The Klein@75 Concert

The Project
The Klein Memorial Auditorium, a historical center for the arts in Bridgeport, Connecticut, celebrated its 75th anniversary with an epic concert. This concert combined all of The Klein’s greatest hits, including the Greater Bridgeport Symphony, the New England Ballet, Fairfield County Children’s Choir, Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras, among others. Hosting the event was the former band leader from the Late Show with David Letterman, Paul Shaffer.

Serving as an integrated marketing agency, our Advertsising and PR Campaigns class was given the task of creating and leading the advertising campaign for The Klein’s special night. I was chosen to lead the Art and Design team, which created a huge amout of content. What you will see is my work only.
Logo Concepts
Here are a few of the many logo concepts I shared with the client.
Final Logo
Inspired by the structure of The Klein's building. The red color is consistent with the auditorium's interior, and the ribbon-like detail on the “75” represents the celebratory occasion.
Banner
The 8x8' banner hung on the facade of The Klein.
Poster and Rack Card
These were distributed all around the Greater Bridgeport area promoting the event.
Animation
Used in 15 second, 60 second, and 90 second commercials.
Building Schematic Concept
Billboard Concept
The context is a typical scene of Bridgeport.
