NickToons Poster Series

Why I chose this episode:
I'm a huge fan of everything that has to do with Halloween, so it was a natural transition to watch this show as a child. I remember being blown away by the animation and imaginaton. As well, I based my idea around Oblina's division of the poster, enforcing the theme of switiching places. The lettering of the episode title was designed to reflect the monstrous nature of the show. Several letters are stitched together, have fangs, or consist of slime.
Why I chose this episode:
Rugrats was my favorite
NickToon when I was growing up. There were so many iconic episodes to pick from, but I based the "Toy Palace" poster around the battle between Thorg (left) and Reptar (right). While Tommy looks on in amazement, Chuckie is considerably more worried about being locked in a toy store.
Why I chose this episode:
Doug is nervous about graduation and dreams up several scenarios: crashing in space, mountaineering, and his principal taking the form of the Wizard of Oz. I have fond memories of growing up with Doug. When my sister graduated college, I remember recording this episode on VHS, and presenting the tape to her as my gift. As I grew older, the lessons from the episode still resonated with me, especially during my own graduations.
Why I chose this episode:
I was honestly torn between "Wheezin' Ed" and the episode with the Pigeon Man. Some of more chilling and striking imagery in the episode stuck with me, including a flashback sequence with the titular character. I wanted the lettering of the title to feel both weathered and classical, while also incorporating the island on which the story takes place.
THANK YOU!
