Being the unnoficial "Red Light District" of Kuala Lumpur, the Jalan Chow Kit area is notoriously known for being the seedy underbelly of the city. The nickname itself points to a more serious social issue that needs to be dealt with. The CHOW KIT ART THERAPY CENTER is a building designed to empower the female population of the Chow Kit area. It is equipped with proper spaces that works as a refuge and empowerment center for marginalised women using creative mediums.
