BRIEF-This project was basically about learning and exploring the knitting and weaving techniques. We had to traverse in the world of forms and then create products through it.
PROJECT FROM MY PERSPECTIVE- Each material has its own texture and tension through which I looked at various possibilities of each material. This project gave me a basic idea of how to understand simple 2D forms and then convert them into 3D. This project was so engaging that I overexerted my hand resulting in numbness in several parts of my fingers.

OUTPUT-We started with learning and exploring the technique of knitting by varying in the tension between the threads and by increasing the number of threads. It is a very simple technique, but it is not easy because it is very time-consuming. This course was basically to understand forms so I tried making a pouch and a pair of shoes. I also looked at different materials that are leather, nylon threads and wool. Then, also looking deeper into weaving by using paper and bamboo. We started with making yarns frames by using bottles and ice-cream sticks and later with embroidery frame and nailing pegs around the frame.
