Witty, a home automation solutions company wanted a design concept that will make their small stall in City Scape Abu Dhabi UAE to stand out. They are a fast growing company and this was a trial participation with the goal of introducing themselves into the corporate automation market, especially the construction and education fields as those two are of personal interest to the owners & managers of the company.
So we went with a clear bold statement design and colour, we focused on presenting sentences that symbolize the company’s ideals and business plans, and a general outcome that provides the perception that something is to be checked out over here.

We unfortunately didn’t get to attend the exhibition, but we based the success analysis of our concept on the fact that they were pleased enough to ask us to re-design their brand entirely. We did advise on this earlier and apparently they signed some important clients at the exhibition which led to them trusting our judgement. :)
 
 
We did some research and brainstorming then decided on giving Witty an identity with a character to be implemented in their future exposure.

Of course a robot and house figure come to mind from home automation, all that was left was to decide upon the mood of the character. After several drawings we went with a smirk or sneaky smile, aiming to portray a slick “witty” robot face, marketing it as the nerdy friend that will solve any problem.

As for the stationary, we felt it only natural to carry one with an imaginary circuit-like structure, which we like to think of as futuristic.

A square shaped business card was our preffered choice of design, as it creates an impression of detail orientation and accuracy in dealing with business.

We also designed a one page company profile as a means of giving a quick idea as an introduction before going through the entire thing.

We later went on to designing flyers, a brochure, website and just for fun added employee t-shirts and car mock ups, which we do not know if they implemented yet.
