BLUE SKY CAMPAIGN
Project Background
There are 2600 EuroII model buses in Hong Kong, they contribute in emitting up to 40% of the localair pollutants. The only way to tackle this is to replace these diesel busesinto more eco-friendly alternatives. Though the government announced that allEuro II model buses will be replaced by the year of 2019, the progress shouldspeed up before the air pollution problem goes out of control.

Strategy
GET general public in Hong Kong - TO use eco-friendly transport, MTR - BY helping to ‘remove’ the dissel buses from the street.

Take Action!
Our campaign willbe placed on the billboard in Tsim Sha Tsui Pier. That is a very crowded place and it is near the bus terminal.

Pedestrians can tear the tickets, printed with the images of Euro II model buses off from it. Before tearing, the print is messy, making a mood of dense and polluted environment. Then there is a part of the background will be shown once a ticketis taken away, which show part of a blue sky. When all the tickets are taken away, the whole picture of the sky will be shown, meaning that by taking old buses away from road, we can enjoy better air quality and nicer sky. In return to their support of this campaign, the ticket offered a free single-ride of MTR.
