What constitutes the difference between house and home is the difference in their level of tangibility. While house refers to something physical, an actual structure that is visible to the human eye, the home encompasses all of that and something more. We are reliant on the senses to fill our visualization of home, a visualization that is hard to illustrate concretely.
A sense of ____ is inspired by the power of words. Using figurative and imagery-heavy language, it pulls directly from the experiences I relate back to home and communicates them using the five senses. Each passage works on its own as an excerpt of a different sensual experience, thereby shying away from being a chronological story. However, the collection of all of these excerpts spins a narrative that is (hopefully) able to communicate my personal take on home to my viewer.
